week 2, day 1 -- mon, feb 8th

food for the day:

meal #1
-- 2 fried eggs, 1 humus sandwich, large green tea.


meal #2 -- smoothie

meal #3 -- whole wheat pasta with homemade sauce

meal #4 -- 1/2 smoothie.


exercise for the day:

** 30 minutes of yoga. -- done.
** 30 minutes of physical therapy.
-- done.
** extra stretches during the day. -- done.


activites for the day:

** work only on Racheli's birthday scarf.
-- ha! got tired of only knitting so i started another crocheted scarf. i'm super pathetic.

week 1, day 4 -- thurs, feb 4th

food for the day:

meal #1
-- 2 humus sandwiches, using lite 100% whole grain bread. large green tea. 15 almonds.


meal #2 -- smoothie

meal #3 -- chicken and vegetable soup with matzo balls. (again)

meal #4 -- smoothie. this is becoming more difficult for me to have. i'm just not that hungry at the end of the day. maybe i'll do a 1/2 smoothie.


exercise for the day:

** 30 minutes of yoga -- nope. didn't feel well.

** various PT exercises to release the knitting-related muscles.
-- nope. didn't feel well.


activites for the day:

** work on 2 new scarves. -- done.

** work on new hat
-- done.

week 1, day 2 -- monday, march 9th -- Papi's Birthday :-)))

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO MY BELOVED PAPI... THE VERY BEST FATHER ANYONE COULD EVER HAVE

an absolutely WONDERFUL day was had by one and all. i had a great talk with my Papi late in the evening. he's so great :-)

food for the day:


meal #1 -- 1 cup steel-cut oalmeal with 1/2 cup skim mink, dab of butter, pinch of ground cinnamon (yummers), 6oz cottage cheese, 5 prunes

meal #2 -- smoothie

meal #3 -- roasted chicken and veggies. 1 cup brown rice. very small garden salad.

meal #4 -- smoothie

walk(s) for the day:

** 1 walk, up to the center, around the upper park, down to the lower park and back home. should take about 1 hour. -- nope. didn't have the time.


activites for the day:

** work on my website for a few hours in the morning -- done
** knit a bit for my mid-day break -- done. even knitted for awhile after work.
** 20 minutes of physical therapy -- nope. no time.
** work from 3pm till midnight -- done
** send out at least 35 previews -- done. got 41 preview out :-)))
** get at least one order !! :-))) (it's going to happen) -- done. YAY for me.

week 7, day 7 -- Shabbat, feb 7th

food for the day:

meal #1 -- 1 cup steel-cut oalmeal with 1/2 cup skim mink, dab of butter, pinch of ground cinnamon (yummers), 6oz cottage cheese, 5 prunes

meal #2 -- smoothie

meal #3 -- 1 large schnitzel with 2 cups whole wheat spaghettie -- Nina made this yesterday and it's delicious !!

meal #4 -- smoothie

walk(s) for the day:

** only one walk, just going in whatever direction i feel like going when i leave the apartment

activites for the day:

** only knitting all day long
** working on the website for a few hours after Shabbat goes out this evening
** 30 minutes of physical therapy

week 7, day 6 -- friday, feb 6th

another great day. walked for about 1.5 hours and ate very good. Nina made us a delicious Shabbat dinner :-)

week 7, day 2 -- monday, feb 2nd

meal #3 -- roasted chicken with roasted veggies on a bed of brown rice.

meal #4 -- smoothie

walk(s) for the day:

** only one walk, going up to the shopping center and one lap around the park before coming home -- done

activites for the day:

** lots of work on my website !!! -- done
** 45 minutes of physical therapy exercises -- done
** knit/crochet in the late evening, when i'm off the computer
-- done
** cooking as much as humanly possible under the circumstances -- done
** cleaning up that insanely wild kitchen !! -- done

week 7, day 1 -- sunday, feb 1st

food for the day:

meal #1 -- 1 cup steel-cut oalmeal with 1/2 cup skim mink, dab of butter, pinch of ground cinnamon (yummers), 6oz cottage cheese, 5 prunes

meal #2 -- smoothie

meal #3 -- 1 large sloppy Joe sandwich, made with homemade ground chicken breast and fresh tomatoe sauce, 2 large slices of grilled Challah, a bit of cheddar cheese, small garden salad.

meal #4 -- smoothie

walk(s) for the day:

** no walk today, but i will start again tomorrow.

activites for the day:

** lots of work on my website ALL DAY LONG !!! -- done, done and more done... 17 hours of work done today YIKES @!@$%%
** 45 minutes of physical therapy exercises -- done
** knit/crochet in the late evening, when i'm off the computer -- done. about 3 hours late at night.

a *good* day, but many things were *off*. i'm still calling it a good day :-)

meal #3 -- 1 large sloppy Joe sandwich, made with homemade ground chicken breast and fresh tomatoe sauce, 2 large slices of grilled Challah, a bit of cheddar cheese, small garden salad.

** no walks scheduled for the whole week. i might do a bit here and there, for errands and meetings. we'll see

activites for the day:

** lots of work on my website once i get home from the meeting -- done
** 45 minutes of physical therapy exercises -- done
** knit/crochet in the late evening, when i'm off the computer -- done
** go to the small business networking meeting in the morning -- done
** give more *moving orders* in the afternoon -- nope. the moving crew was too busy doing other things :-((

meal #3 -- 1 large sloppy Joe sandwich, made with homemade ground chicken breast and fresh tomatoe sauce, 2 large slices of grilled Challah, a bit of cheddar cheese, small garden salad. -- Nina made them and they are wonderful !!!

** no walks scheduled for the whole week. i might do a bit here and there, for errands and meetings. we'll see

week 5, day 7 -- saturday, jan 24th

the VERY BEST day ever !! we got the apartment and life is more wonderful than ever !!!

food for the day:

meal #1 -- 1 cup steel-cut oalmeal with 1/2 cup skim mink, dab of butter, pinch of ground cinnamon (yummers), 6oz cottage cheese, 5 prunes

meal #2 -- skipped this one altogether

meal #3 -- a variety of food that we got from my friend, including fish balls, cooked wheat (turns out like really delicious brown rice, even better), dumpings, and something else that i can't think of now.

meal #4 -- smoothie

walk(s) for the day:

** 1st walk, i have no idea where i'll be headed to. i want to take some pictures in the morning. hopefully the weather will be nice enough for both the walk and photography. -- nope. i had forgotten that i just wanted to rest the whole day.

** no 2nd walk scheduled

activites for the day:

** lots of work on my website in the morning and early afternoon
-- nope. i had forgotten that i just wanted to rest the whole day.
** 45 minutes of physical therapy exercises
-- nope. just rested all day.
** knit as much as possible in the late afternoon/all evening -- sure did. crocheted all day long :-)

week 5, day 6 -- friday, jan 23rd

food for the day:

meal #1 -- 2 sandwiches made with whole wheat bread, humus spread, dijon mustard spread, 1 slice cheese, 1 banana, 1 super large coffee.

meal #2 -- skipped this one altogether

meal #3 -- a variety of food that we got from my friend, including fish balls, cooked wheat (turns out like really delicious brown rice, even better), dumpings, and something else that i can't think of now.

meal #4 -- smoothie

walk(s) for the day:

** 1st walk, will be done by going up to the closes shopping center, doing one lap around the park behind it and then coming back home. - done, but instead of the extra lap around the park, i went into several stores and did alot of walking that way.

** no 2nd walk scheduled

activites for the day:

** lots of work on my website in the morning and early afternoon -- done
** 45 minutes of physical therapy exercises -- done
** knit as much as possible in the late afternoon/all evening -- done

a great day, but i was very, very hungry all day long i just kept drinking herbal teas all day long to keep the hunger away.
